I can’t wait to get working again on outdoor DIY projects.

That’s why these little backyard race car tracks you’re about to see are just the perfect DIY project to work on!

By simply digging around a little plot in the yard, laying down and assembling the little rubber tracks, landscaping around the area, and putting on decorative touches, you can build your own little car track.

Of course, there are so many more genius kids’ DIYs to work on this summer, including this gorgeous play set that these creative parents built for their kids.

This is perfect for families who have a backyard of any size.

The construction process is also very manageable. According to Goods Home Design, all you’ll have to do is dig for a bit, then assemble the little tracks, and landscape the area.

The best part of assembling a toy race track by hand is putting on the beautiful little finishing touches at the end.

Some of the tracks pictured here have colorful little cars of all sizes, road markings, and even little traffic cones!

Some designs even have perfect little sandpits installed, so that the kids can hop right on in there with their toys!
